Creating My Website
When creating my own website for my teaser trailer "Wasted Youth" i had to think of what tools will NEED to be used within the website to assure it looks and is 100% a website.
Images - Will need to include various different images ranging in shot types. I will also need to use an image editing programme such as Paint Shop Pro to create different image effects and to also build up an image of different layers to have an exiting and professional image.
Text - Will have to closely monitor the amount of text that appears on the website homepage. On most existing homepages, there is a very minimal amount of text used, so this research will reflect in my final homepage as this convention will have to be used. I will also look at the styles, colours and fonts of the text on the homepage, they will need to be the same throughout the website to create cohesion between each page making the final website effective and cohesive.
Hyperlinks - Websites contain hyperlinks, however, most professional websites use more comprehensive hyperlink styles. Image mapping is a method used to create different hyperlinks from different areas of the same image. I already have some basic knowledge of using image mapping and have decided to use image mapping on our website rather than using simple text links, as I think it will be a good way of making the website effective and professional, and will make the website of a higher standard.
HTML Formatting - Websites use HTML codes to create all different kinds of effects. Having some basic HTML knowledge, I thought it would be a good idea to use this knowledge to make the pages of our website more cohesive and professional. An example of the way I will be using HTML coding is by changing the colours of the scrollbars of the page. The colours I have selected are the same as the background colours, so this will make the scrollbars disappear, but will still scroll. This will make the website more professional as sometimes the presence

Poster,Magazine And DVD Cover Planning
When i was preparing to make my poster, magazine and DVD cover i had to think of a layout and colour theme to use. Within my trailer i use Black, White and Red i decided to use these as my three main primary colours for all three of my designs.
I then realised that I would be needing diffrent shots of my characters within my trailer for the backgrounds and smaller images that i would be placing throughout each design, so i gathered more pictures of each of my characters.
I then sorted through all the images of each character to assure that i use the best pictures to go with the item i was designing, By doing this I found that Icould also use these images on the DVD cover, and on my website to create a strong cohesion between all of our products.

Completed Teaser Trailer
After making a few minor changes due to my Audience Feedback i have edited and changed my trailer and it has now been completed. The trailer has been burnt to a disk and uploaded to Youtube. By uploading it to Youtube it makes it a lot more easier for my trailer to be viewed.
Audience Feedback
When the audience watched my trailer they gave me the following feedback:
"It needs to have more of a plot to it" - Amber Rawling
" The bong is a bit to much of a shock for the target audience you aim for" -
Luke Nicholles
" The music fits perfectly with the trailer and the idea you have going with
it" - Amy Gallagher
When taking and listening to my audience feedback i decided that i needed to cut down the time of the bong being shown as it seemed to be a main vocal point within my trailer. I didnt want to completly take the bong out as a 19year old student i feel its appropriate for the context of my trailer i have created.
I decided that by adding more titles to my trailer i could add a nice plot to the trailer which will keep the audience gripped and wanting to see more of my trailer.

Completed Filming
Now I have collected all of the necessary footage for my teaser trailer, i feel its time to move on editing my production. For this, i will be using Final Cut for Apple Macs.
This is the first year of A2 that we as a group have been able to work on an Apple Mac to edit our production as we have previously been using Adobe Flash Player, however as i have a Mac at home i was use to Final Cut so wasnt learning any new skills as the rest of the class had. However i feel i can use my skills of knowing this program already and make my production look to the best of my ability.
